TIPPY LAPIN - EDITOR/PRODUCER

     In the 14 years since moving to New York City in 2000, Tippy Lapin has managed to separate herself in the ever changing competitive industry of film and television. With fresh ideas and an impressive resume to match her production/editorial work is not only original, but has also been shattering records and receiving much acclaim. Her work for Gillette’s Pro Glide campaign featuring ESPN’s Kenny Mayne was the most viewed commercial campaign in the summer of 2010.

     Working with A-list talent such as Will Ferrell, Steve Carrell, Danny McBride, John C. Reilly, and Tracy Morgan her comedy pieces have been seen by millions of viewers on network television and digital distributors like Funny or Die and Youtube. Co-Producing and editing 2010's highest rating comedy spoof for the ESPYS, “The Decision” starring Steve Carrell and Paul Rudd, received over a million hits digitally on ESPN.com in it’s first weekend alone.

     In the spring of 2012 she moved to Los Angeles to become the features editor for the show “Road to London,” where she garnered the respect of Executive Producer, David Michaels. With Michaels stamp of approval she was brought on to the 2012 Olympics. Shortly after her arrival she was responsible for editing the Artistic Gymnastics show opens as well as various features. 

     Her work also extends into commercial clients such as Infiniti, Nissan, Mountain Dew, ESPN, Sony Pictures, Paramount Pictures and Harpo.  In addition to her commercial work she has created reputable promos for blockbuster films, most recently, Prince of Persia, Despicable Me, Gullivers Travels, and The Expendables.

     Now, in her 30's, with her finger on the pulse for what's next, she strives to create new trends in the always evolving world of production.  With a creative mind the possibilities are endless as far as creating fresh and innovative ideas. To be stagnate is never the desire!
